I have them for sale. They are $106 shipped anywhere in the US. What year of truck and what engine are you replacing?

id like the mounting kit for a 5.3 in 98 2wd dakota please. replacing 5.2 No problem. You will need to buy 5.9 motor mounts, because I have been told the 5.2 are different for some reason. I couldn't confirm that from someone I sold plates to, but he did email me and tell me that the 5.2 motor mounts didn't work. The part numbers for the 5.9 mounts are ANCHOR 2917 (Left) and 3067 (Right) from rockauto.com, oreilly, or others. If you get lucky, a local junkyard may have them and sell them to you practically for the price of scrap metal. PM me your email, and I can send you a paypal invoice. Plates are ready to ship.

I'm interested in a set of mounts for an 01 Crew cab with a 4.7 and 4x4. I've been reading here and there too and have yet to see a dakota with the original 233 transfer case still being used. Is there a reason for this or just hasnt been done yet? Also the truck currently has an nv3500 and I will be going to the 4l60e, any recommendations for a floor mounted shifter that is semi close to lining up? Thanks for any info.

PM your email to me and I can send you an invoice for the plates. But I will need to know what your frame looks like in the front. It would be best if you could pull the engine, and take a picture before you order the plates. I can have them ready to ship in a day or two.
As for the transmission change, I don't have a lot of advice on that. I am sure any floor shifter that camaro guys use would work fine. Just plan on mounting it on the tunnel, which will probably require some spacers.
As for the 233. It is electronically shifted, so you will have a challenge making it work since it probably won't want to shift without knowing it is safe.

Ok I plan on tearing out the 4.7 on Tuesday or Wednesday. Just curious but what are the differences in the front ends? Also would it probably be a better idea to switch to the np231 out of an s10/blazer so I won't have to worry about an adapter for the 4l60e that way too? As opposed to trying to make that 233 work. Thanks again.

If you look at lsdak1.freeforums.net/thread/121/awd-ls-dakota, Alex has a totally different front frame than I had on my Durango. He had a manual steering box, instead of rack-and-pinion, which may have been part of it. But I had to send him different plates to set the engine back a little more. If you change to a 231, then you have to add a shifter. Not sure how much work that would take, but sticking with a transmission and transfer case that match, you wouldn't have to worry about that part of it.

I'll take a set, I just picked up a 03 2wd stampede this week. Waiting on the guys at the salvage yard to get a lq9, they have a lm7 with all the goodies for $500 but I was kinda hoping to get the extra displacement since it'll only cost $200 more. Send me the payment info when you can, thanks!

Detailguy.
I sent a paypal invoice for the plates. They are ready to ship. If you are going from 3.9 to ls, you will need a set of dakota 5.9 motor mounts also. The part numbers for the 5.9 mounts are ANCHOR 2917 (Left) and 3067 (Right) from rockauto.com, oreilly, or others. If you get lucky, a local junkyard may have them and sell them to you practically for the price of scrap metal.
