So It's been a while since I been on this forum, and in that time, this happened 02' Dak R/T Unfortunately... So then did this... On a trip up to New Jersey from Florida... I fell asleep and drove straight in the back of a dump truck. Dump truck driver barley knew I hit him..lol but if it weren't for that truck, that ditch you see of the side, had my name written ALL over it. Cop said I had to be around 100 when I hit cause the other vehicle was doing 70 going the same direction.. These things are tough!! but it was written off.. Story doesn't have a sad ending tho, because from the ashes.. Comes the Resurrection... 98' Dak Sport 4L80e this time around with a yank 3600 Stall.... Tragic old Lump... Sad this thing actually got worst gas mileage driving back from Mobile @70 then my Cammed 6.0 LSX did at 85!! Out the rented shop in South Ga, sold the house in Florida, back up to Nj... Yes, I'm regretting these decisions Keeping those FL Tags Tho!! F*%! this NJ Insurance! Bigger headers, and larger 3" dual exhaust with panhard bar, X brace, Different cooling system setup, Larger radiator, Modified sway bar mount and fuel cell, but the rest is the same old 02' dakota LSX. Hope to go farther with this one than I did the last. Dyno vid and numbers to come soon..!!

Awesome man. These trucks are tough. My LSDAK suffered a front-end collision when I ran into a mini-van that pulled out in front of me. Truck was only 3 at the time, and still bone-stock R/T, so I bought it back from insurance and rebuilt the front end just like you did.
You always do good work. Thanks for the pics and updates.
Question. How are you hosting your pics? Photobucket is a trash can at this point.

Question. How are you hosting your pics? Photobucket is a trash can at this point. Thanks Scott, always appreciate your comments... and your builds!! I've always used tinypic to host my pics. It was better a few years ago when you didn't have to endure a "prove your not a bot" ad and capcha, but now is just a capcha every 3rd pic you host. Small price to pay for a free photo hosting site. Next major changes are figuring out something to do with these tragic brakes dodge puts on these things.. a manual t56 conversion.. possibly a blower, different cam, narrowed rear axle and coil conversion, then re attempting to get AC in this thing as I was unsuccessful with the 02'. Problem with this one is, nowhere to put the condenser. I'm using an 01+radiator, rad support and core in the front of the 98' with a larger rad, and it puts it soo far forward, that it pretty much sits in the grille. I plan on using twin air to air inter-coolers for the blower later, so my fog light pockets will be filled ( however they are filled now with my air filters) so finding a place for a large enough condenser to make the ac efficient enough to go thru the hell of getting it to work may take some doing... then again, 6 years in Florida got my body acclimated to real heat, so the summers here just aren't what I remember them to be so I may just say F' it. I have a power sunroof, may as well use it!! 2000 Durango ZL1 AWD 1999 Dakota R/T 6.0/6l90

Dang! I'm glad you're ok man. I will say I'm envious of your shop size. You did a heck of a job. BTW you need to get some fender flares on that bad boy.
