After driving it for a few months, I can finally say it's done. Just finished a round trip to CT and averaged 18mpg, which is better than the 3.9L could've ever done... Maybe it's because I can actually use 5th gear now without it falling on it's face. In the middle of this exact swap atm lol. 2010 GenIV 5.3 (lmf) 2005 zr2 blazer nv3500 and going to swap the input shaft and front case half for a hybrid chevy/dodge np233 tcase. Having a few clearance issues atm with the underside of the cowl interfering with the intake manifold. If you could point me in the direction of your build thread I'd like to see what you did.
