I'm Michael and I am a Mopar betrayer. 1997 Dakota ECSB, black with clearcoat flake, lowered 3/5, wheels, blahblahblah. 318, M1 intake, 52mm TB, 19lb injectors, Taurus fan, full 3in exhaust, and a CAI(for the bigger tubing to help the intake breathe easier). I have a bare LS1 block and a complete 5.3 sitting in the shop. I plan on going the route of the 5.3 with go fast goodies one day with a built 4L60E. I had hoped to do it this Fall but at the moment I need to hang on to the money instead of playing, college sucks. I'm in for the nudes!

Thanks for joining. We are well on the way to having this conversion working. Please rest assured that I am not going to allow flaming, mopar vs chevy stuff on this site. To me, LS is a brand.
But after working with the Magnum motors and seeing chrysler's 4.7 suck any fun out of the last years of these trucks, I am very excited about changing. Having more than 2 intakes and 3 cams to choose from should be a feeling of relief once we begin to modify our LS motors.
Keep posted in the coming weeks for more videos. Suggestions and constructive comments are appreciated.

Scott,
I read somewhere that you needed measurements from different models such as a 4wd. I have a 4wd dakota that i drive daily. If you could talk me threw it i'll try and gather what your looking for.

We will get to 4X4's next. Because the Magnum 3.9, 5.2 and 5.9 share the same dimensions (width), and are interchangeable within the platforms, the adapter plate we develop should work to adapt the LS block (known dimension) to the Magnum block (known dimension), if the original factory motor mounts are used, as they are the adapter to the frame from the known dimensions. I also expect the same adapters to work with the Ram trucks of the same years.
Thanks
Scott
