Awesome! If this works for him and you still have the dimensions I would like to order a set of those plates. I know you're working on an AWD Durango. Are they the same plates you're using?

No. The Durango I am doing has a different mounting system and front crossmember, so i had to set the engine back 2 inches to clear. I sent a set with these dimensions to Alex, and it was too far back for him. So I sent him a set that is drilled for the original position for the 2wd, but also added a set of holes to set the engine back. Just waiting for him to try it.

Alright thank you for the info. I will take a look at my setup and compare it to the pictures of what you're working on and what Alex is working on and see what I need.

Alright, I looked at the 2 different builds and my 2002 Durango R/T is exactly the same as the 2000 durango you're building. So I feel that the adapter plates you're using are what I will need, and then I can notch the motor mounts for the thru-bolt like you mentioned in your build.

Driver side needed no modification other than grinding down the casting ribs on the block so the heads of the bolts would clear. These are the mounts with the 1 inch offset.

Passenger side wasn't hard. All that was needed, other than grinding down the ribs from the block as the driver side so the bolts would clear, was to open up one of the lower bolt holes on the magnum motor mount since one of the LS mounting holez was so close to the magnum one I just went ahead and grinded all the way out and use a washer, nothing fancy and you get to use all holes on both plates.

PM your email, and I will send you an invoice. I can have them ready to ship by Monday.

Well we have been super busy at the shop doing three other full ls drive train swaps that I haven't had time to work on my truck. We did a full engine and trans swap on a 2007 3500 which was a pain cause we had never messed with gen4 ls but we got it done. A full swap on my brothers Silverado 5.3 to a 6.0 and had the trans rebuilt while we had it out. And we're still working long days to finish the Syclone which has to be at the Holley LS Fest in bowlin green by friday. It's being set up at the Dart tent. We just finished exhaust and installing Borowski's new LSNext 427 supercharged stroker. Gotta finish the wiring and little odds and ends.

I did however managed to to finally mount my cab and bed on the new frame had some clearance issues, but nothing a bfh couldn't fix. Finished my throttle cable as well as my transmission linkage. Went through the dodge harness and deleted all the wires I didn't need. Still need to run my trans lines to the cooler and some other odds and ends but other than that I'm not too far away from finishing it up. Hopefully in a couple more weeks it will be finished depending on this horrible Kentucky weather. Wheels are for my brothers truck which we'll be installing a lift kit on this weekend I'll post a few pics of that when finished. But for now it's all the progress I have. Last big thing needed on my truck would be exhaust which will have to wait till some more funds come in haha.
