Rear disc for older dak/dur with 9.25 rear end. These are based on common GM brake calipers, and provide the greatest improvement for a reasonable price. I have used them for at least 10 years on multiple projects. PM me if interested. Scott

Do you want installed pics, or the actual brackets?

Here is installed and bracket kit. That is not oil, or brake fluid, it is water. I just drove it in the rain. This truck gets driven every day.

Do you have the write up for this? Will the rear disc from an 02 1500hd work with the brackets?

No write up for this. In the thread lsdak1.freeforums.net/thread/36/tips-tricks-chrysler-rearend-rebuild, tips and tricks for chrysler rearend rebuild, I show how to disassemble a 9.25 rearend. Once the axles are out, the adapter plates bolt in place of the original drum backing plates. The calipers are from a GM car, 78-83 Chevelle, Monte Carlo, El Camino, Malibu, Tempest, Cutlass, F-85, Pontiac Grand prix, Le Mans, GTO, Grand Am, and Bonneville. Readily available, and cheap.

Are you making these brackets to sell? Or was this a one off project?

What discs do you use?

This kit uses stock dakota/durango front discs. Depending on the brand, some have to be clearanced on the inside a little bit. This is done with a die grinder or 4 1/2 angle grinder and flap disc.

How do I place an order for these and does it require brake proporsion valve? It does not require proportioning valve. It will require 1) 1997-2002 dakota front brake discs (2). AC DELCO PART # 18A821A or equivalent. Rockauto.com has Pronto BR5382 on closeout right now for $9.14 each plus shipping. 2) Rubber brake lines (2) AC DELCO PART # 18J147 AND 18J2039 left and right (Search for 1985 Eldorado 4.1 L V8) 3) Calipers no parking brake (2) AC DELCO PART # 18FR756 and 18FR755 left and right (Search for 1985 Eldorado 4.1 L V8) 4) Calipers parking brake(2) AC DELCO PART # 18FR792 and 18FR791 (Search for 1985 Eldorado 4.1 L V8) I give these part numbers in AC DELCO because they are easy to cross-reference. Any brand will be fine. You will need to clearance the inside of the rotors a little with a file or die grinder and stone. If interested. PM you email to me, and I will send you an invoice. Scott

So if I go with the ones with parking brake will the dakota parking cable work or does it require modifying? Sorry for all the questions just seeing if its worth it to keep the parking brake
